ManuREsource: International conference 2019
The Organising Committee in collaboration with NCM, the Dutch Centre of Expertise for Manure Valorization, invites to the fourth edtion of ManuREsourc International Conference 2019.
The conference takes place
from 27 to 28 November 2019
at the PXL congress center in Hasselt, Belgium.
A facultative field trip with exclusive site visits to local manure processing installations will be organised on 29 November 2019.
Since 2017, different things are moving, f.e. the provisional vote of the new Fertiliser Regulation and the launch of the “SAFEMANURE” study.
During ManuREsouce 2019, the remaining challenges in the transition of the manure management will be tackled with the different international stakeholders involved in manure management and valorisation: researchers, policymakers, lifestock and crop farmers, feed industry, (mineral) fertilizer industry and agrofood concerns.
The core concept where the ManuREsource series is well known for, i.e., exchanging experiences and knowledge between European regions on effective policy measures dealing with manure surplus and innovations in manure treatment technologies all over the world, remains the same.
