ESPP webinar „Perspectives for reducing “legacy phosphorus” in agricultural soils“
The ESPP webinar „Perspectives for reducing “legacy phosphorus” in agricultural soils“ takes places
on the 2. February 2022, 13h – 17h CET
online.
Historical applications of phosphorus fertilisers have led to a build-up of phosphorus in many agricultural soils, referred to as “Legacy P”.
This ESPP webinar will discuss what is meant by “Legacy P”: Levels above agronomic recommended soil P index? Or above breakthrough for losses to surface water? Or above natural background levels? And what are the practical field-related implications of “Legacy P” for farmers and for catchment managers: Can “Legacy P” be drawn down without reducing crop yields? How will this impact P losses to surface waters?
Participation is free, but registration is required. Further details on registration can be found on webinar’s website following the links below.
