The P2GreeN Final Conference ‘Advancing Circular Sanitation from Demonstration to Market Uptake’ takes place

The P2GreeN Final Conference focuses on the transition of circular sanitation solutions from pilot projects to large-scale implementation. Bringing together policymakers, researchers, wastewater operators and agri-food stakeholders, the event explores how nutrient recovery from human wastewater can contribute to sustainable and circular fertiliser production in Europe.
The conference presents results from four years of demonstration work within the Horizon Europe project P2GreeN, including practical applications of urine-derived fertilisers and nutrient recovery systems. Discussions will address pilot technologies, legislative and governance challenges under the EU Circular Economy framework, as well as business opportunities and pathways for market uptake. The programme includes expert panels, a plenary session on recommendations and outcomes, and opportunities for professional exchange and networking.
