The George Barley Water Prize: Stage 1 Finalists and Stage 2 Submission

The Stage 1 Finalists within the George Water Barley Prize have been announced. Fifteen competitors have been named and the winner will be chosen on March 22.

Moreover, Stage 2 is open for submissions now. Deadline to submit testing results and documentation for Stage 2 is August 31, 2017.

Stage 2 has a shift in focus, aiming to incentivize those that can prove their phosphorus removal technology specifically via lab testing. Teams in Stage 2 will compete for $80,000 in prizes at the end of the Stage. This stage of the competition provides applicants an opportunity to test and prove their solutions. Applicants will submit a lab report and supporting documentation, showing how their technology performs.
