Joint statement on the EU Fertilising Products Regulation
A Joint Statement signed by federations representing the principal industries concerned by the different product categories and input materials covered by the EU Fertilisers Regulation, and by other concerned organisations has been brokered. This joint statement is for the attention of the trilogue co-regulators: Council, European Parliament and the European Commission.
It has been brokered by the European Sustainable European Sustainable Phosphorus Platform ESPP and is, to the understanding of DPP and ESPP, the first time ever that these different industries (mineral fertilisers, organic fertilisers, digestates, liming materials, growing media, biostimulants) sign a joint position or enter such dialogue. Such cooperation is essential if we are to address the challenges of the new Fertilisers Regulation and so take nutrient recycling towards wider commercial implementation.
